Paluto Restaurant
About This Spot
Perched along the gentle stretch of Corniche Deira, Paluto Restaurant quietly invites diners into an experience that feels both intimate and unhurried. This is not a place hurried by the city’s pace but one where the soft hum of waterfront breezes mingles with the satisfying sizzles from the kitchen — a space where the moments between bites are just as savor-worthy as the food itself.
Warmth radiates from every corner, not just from the open kitchen but from the genuine welcomes that greet each guest. The atmosphere balances a laid-back ease with a subtle rhythm of shared stories and the clinks of cutlery on plates, creating an environment where friends gather to linger and newcomers often find themselves returning. Here, dining transcends mere eating; it unfolds as a quiet celebration of fresh catches, carefully grilled and gently seasoned, where the seafood’s natural flavors are allowed to shine.
What makes Paluto truly stand out is its thoughtful approach to the catch of the day. Diners start by selecting their seafood from the nearby fish market — a ritual that connects them directly to the ocean’s generous bounty. Whether it’s the delicate, buttery richness enveloping shrimp or the lively tang of well-curated spicy sauces that dance around grilled lobsters and squids, each dish carries with it a handcrafted authenticity. The simplicity of serving rice instead of bread, paired with the gentle sea breeze and views of the water, brings an understated joy that feels both refreshing and timeless.
Beyond the plates, there’s a humanness in the service that quietly anchors the experience. Attentive hands are consistently ready to make suggestions or ensure comfort without ever interrupting the easy flow of the evening. The staff’s genuine care often turns first-time visits into returning memories — a subtle reminder that in this corner of Dubai, dining is as much about the people as the food.
For those who find comfort in fresh, thoughtfully prepared seafood enjoyed in a calm, waterside setting, Paluto Restaurant offers more than a meal. It’s a place to breathe, to connect, and to rediscover the joy found in simple, honest flavors shared with company.

Amazing seafood with a great view. The food was fresh and delicious, and the ambiance was very relaxing. We stayed even after closing time, and the staff were incredibly accommodating and sweet, which made the experience even more special. Highly recommended for seafood!

Lovely restaurant with Asian theme cooking. Compared to others around where they serve bread, this restaurant serves rice with the seafood you buy from the fish market. It’s a nice concept and I thoroughly enjoy this with the breeze of the waterfront. I grilled all the seafood ordered, prawns were freshly grilled and squids were not too dry. I ranked 4 stars mainly because the sea bream was raw in the middle and after it was brought back and recook, the meat was a bit hard. I saw other tables where fried calamari is a must! True story it does look more colourful and appetising, we didn’t go for the fry option but might give it a try next time. Service, you really need to expect 45 minutes over weekend for cooking unless you order some fried noodles where you will get them in 10-15 minutes. Although this is stated at the restaurant but just letting this group know the waiting times required for this. Lovely restaurant and will come back in near future.

Had a wonderful dining experience at paluto! The concept is great— you pick the freshest seafood from the fish market next door and they cook it just how you like. The food was delicious: flavourful, fresh and satisfying. The soup a bit salty only. I love their calamari and cajun seafoods. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for seafood lovers!

By far, this is the best Filipino restaurant in Dubai. Even though we live far from the area, we always make it a point to visit during special occasions. I highly recommend the Sinigang na salmon belly and Calamares. The customer service is excellent as well, we’ve been here many times and have never had a bad experience.

Paluto Restaurant never fails to satisfy my love for freshly cooked seafood! I’ve been planning to visit the seafood market for the longest time, and we finally made it yesterday, even though we traveled all the way from JLT. It was absolutely worth it! Huge thanks to the Paluto team for helping me choose a good Alaskan crab. They carefully checked everything and guided me on selecting fresh seafood. Their assistance made the whole experience easy and worry-free. We started with the grilled salmon fillet with garlic and butter, and it was incredible, perfect flavor and texture. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I’m already looking forward to coming back, maybe even weekly! Check out my post: ????????????????????????????????????: @jassy_chic
